1952 2R5 PICKUP
My vehicle was purchased from a fellow club member Bob Clarke 3 and a half years ago, restoration was started straight away.
The body was removed from the chassis, all engine, gear box and differential were dismantled and replaced or repair with new components suppled by Studebaker Parts.
The chassis was sandblasted and repainted by myself, the body was individually repaired by myself and Pat Clarke over the 3 and a half year period.
Over the last 12 months the 2R5 slowly started to take shape with more important parts been acquired from Vintage Wiring Harness, McBride Interiors Prahan Plater.
Studebaker Parts once again assisted in the obtaining of new old stock parts from the USA for the interior.
Finishing touches were done and the vehicle was put on red plate registration in February 2004.
